- Murder
Capital Murder is the most serious offense charged in the State of Texas, and carries a punishment of the death penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole. Murder carries a minimum sentence of 5 years in prison, and a maximum sentence of 99 years or Life in prison. Danielle has prosecuted multiple capital murder and murder cases throughout her career, and knows what makes for a good State’s case and a bad one.
- Aggravated Offenses
Whether you’ve been charged with a Murder, an Aggravated Robbery or an Aggravated Assault, Danielle is ready to help you find the best defense for your case. Sometimes it is just a question about whether the State can prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt! Aggravated Offenses hold extreme penalties, often with a punishment range up to and including life in prison. In addition, parole law does not allow for someone convicted of an aggravated offense to be eligible for parole until the inmate has served at least one-half of their sentence. It is important to find the best lawyer possible, one who will take the time needed to defend these cases.
- Sex Offenses
Whether it is an Aggravated Sexual Assault or a Child Sexual Assault, Danielle has the background and the knowledge to help you defend your case. Sex Offenses are often some of the most difficult cases to try. With a variety of experts’ reports, it is important for your attorney to take the time to go over every piece of evidence.

Most importantly, Danielle learned the ins and outs of Search and Seizure Law which may be a way to get evidence suppressed in a case, often resulting in the dismissal of the case. In addition, Danielle learned the various methods used by prosecutors on how to prosecute a drug offense.
- Intoxication Offenses
Driving While Intoxicated cases are cases where quick action is a benefit. From the time of your arrest, immediate actions need to be taken, and hiring a lawyer is the best route. With a DWI, your license may have been suspended and you only have 15 days to attempt to keep your license from being suspended. DWI offenses carry a heavy penalty, as any plea requires a conviction that may not qualify for non-disclosure. Danielle can evaluate your case, looking to see where the prosecutors will fail in a jury trial. And if you are looking to plead guilty to your charge, Danielle knows what prosecutors look for to minimize your punishment.

- Family Violence
Family violence is most often seen as violence between two people involved in a dating relationship. But in the State of Texas, family violence expands to members of your household and members of your family. If you’ve been charged with assaulting a loved one, a plea of guilty could have lasting effects. You may lose custody of your children, and may even find yourself without a home to live in. Danielle can fight for you to get the best possible outcome for your case.
- Probation Violations
Being on probation is a difficult task. It requires monthly, sometimes weekly, reporting to a probation officer, all while attending classes or doing community service.
